🕗 8:00–8:30 | Introduction and welcome

  • Quick introductions and goals for the day

  • What DaVinci Resolve is and an overview of its modules (Media, Cut, Edit, Color, Fusion, Fairlight, Deliver)

  • Project setup (resolution, framerate, workspace)

  • Basic interface orientation (Media Pool, Timeline, Viewer, Inspector)

🕣 8:40–10:00 | Importing and organizing media

  • How to properly structure your project and folders (bins, labeling)

  • Importing video, music, photos, graphics

  • Timeline explanation and basic clip handling

  • Practise: Exercise: create your first simple sequence from short clips

10:00–10:10 | Coffee break

🕥 10:10–11:30 | Editing basics

  • Tools: Cut, Trim, Ripple, Roll, Slip

  • Essential keyboard shortcuts

  • Moving, deleting and stacking clips

  • Adding music or voice-over

  • Practical exercise: edit a short clip to the rhythm of music

🕛 11:30–12:00 | Transition, titles and text

  • How to use video and audio transitions (cross dissolve, fade in/out)

  • Adding and editing titles (Text, Text+, simple animations)

  • Practise: creating a simple intro or name label

🍽️ 12:00–13:00 | Lunch break

🕐 13:00–14:30 | Working With Audio

  • How to lower/raise clip volume, use fade in/out

  • Basics of sound editing (music, voice, ambience)

  • How to normalize music or voice-over

  • Practise: create a short sequence with music and VO

🕓 14:40–15:40 | Quick color fixes and adding luts

  • How to fix underexposed/overexposed clips using Color Wheels

  • How to apply a LUT for a fast look (e.g., converting log footage)

  • Exporting a preview with LUT applied

🕕 15:50–17:00 | Final Touches & Exporting

  • How to export for YouTube, Instagram or a client

  • Formats & codecs: H.264, MP4, QuickTime

  • Project backup, render queue, exporting with subtitles

  • Tips: Tips for keeping your project clean and your timeline uncluttered

🕢 17:00–18:00 | Wrap-Up, Q&A & Mini Project

  • Quick recap of the whole day

  • Each participant creates their own 30-second video

  • Group feedback, improvement tips

  • Final networking & coffee ☕
